Volunteers are needed
We have many fun and interesting
ways to help
Tree Guardian:
Advocate for the full enforcement of our tree protection
ordinance. Assist individual and groups with protecting
trees at risk.
Scout:
Help inventory historic and champion trees and map their
locations.
Public Relations:
Represent DHTC at events and meetings.
Artistic Design: Create power point presentations, display
boards, and other outreach materials. Install exhibits in
libraries and other public places.
Artists:
Create works to exhibit at Dallas City Hall, Dallas Public
Libraries, and other public places. Create a coloring book
of the ecosystem of a historic tree site.
Outreach Assistant: Distribute flyers and tell others about
meetings, events, and advocacy issues that need strong public
support.
Event Assistants:
Help plan and host events
